    IV. Usage Methods

    1. General steps

    • Take a 1 - liter mud - water sample, dilute it 100 - 500 times by volume with water, and detect the sludge concentration in the water sample.

    • Calculate the dosage of the solid sludge dewatering agent ISDA - 1 according to the ratio of the detected turbidity : sludge dewatering agent = 1mg/L : 3mg. Dissolve the agent and add it to the original mud - water.

    • Stir for 10 minutes for reaction.

    • Filter the mud - water mixture by pressure filtration or suction filtration.

    • Detect various indicators (turbidity, TP, COD, chromaticity) of the supernatant.

    • Dry the filter cake and detect its water content.

    • Determine the dosage according to the results of the bench - scale test.


    2. Dissolution of solid agent

    • First, add the solid sludge dewatering agent to water to dissolve it into a solution with a concentration of about 10 - 30% (mass ratio) (add water first and then the agent while continuously stirring), and then pump it into the reaction tank.


    3. Selection of filtration equipment

    • The plate - and - frame filter press should be selected as the pressure - filtration device.
